With the individual competition, a team competition is simultaneously being held at the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. DP World Tour Golfer Grant Forrest and historian Martin Gilbert are leading the team competition at the tournament after the second round.

Each of the 168 golfers at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is paired with an amateur golfer. As a result, several celebrities are competing at the event while some golfers are playing with their family members.
