Who made the PGA Championship 2023 cut? Full list of golfers who made the Friday cut explored

The second round of the 2023 PGA Championship concluded on Friday, May 19, with Scottie Scheffler, Corey Conners, and Viktor Hovland sharing the lead at 5-under after 36 holes at Oak Hill Country Club.

Hovland closed his second round with a birdie to advance to the top. Both Conners and Scheffler moved to the top with a second round of 2-under.

The World No. 2 golfer was looking to finish with a solo lead at PGA Championship until he dug in a bogey on the final hole. He holed in four birdies and just two bogeys on Friday.

Dustin Johnson was tied with Conners and Scheffler after the opening round but a 4-over 74 in round 2 resulted in him slipping to T19 alongside Day 1 leader Eric Cole.

Justin Suh shot an impressive 68 to jump to 3-under and finished alongside Bryson DeChambeau, who went one over on Friday.

Masters runner-up Brooks Koepka jumped 32 places after he finished at 4-under 66 on Day 2 at Oak Hill. He is tied alongside Callum Tarren at the PGA Championship.

Rory McIlroy also leapt 17 spots to T10 with 1-under 69. World No. 1 Jon Rahm had a slump in the opening round of 76 but the Spaniard recovered with a 2-under 68 to finish at T48.

Justin Thomas has been unimpressive so far as the defending champion sits at T59 with two rounds over 70. He is joined at 5-over by Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson, and 15 others.
