The final round of the 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship concluded on Sunday, October 6 at The Country Club of Jackson, Mississippi. The battle for the title was fierce and had to be decided in a playoff.

Kevin Yu won the Sanderson Farms Championship after defeating Beau Hossler on the first sudden death hole. Both were tied at 23-under after 72 holes.

Kevin Yu, Beau Hossler and Keith Mitchell reached the 18th hole tied at 23-under, but Mitchell bogeyed it and dropped to third. Yu and Hossler finished tied for the lead and were forced into a playoff for the Sanderson Farms Championship title.

While the Taiwanese player reached the green in two, the American faced complications when he sent his tee shot into the left rough. As a result, Yu made a 5-foot, 11-inch putt for birdie on the first playoff hole, while Hossler's 70-foot putt for birdie fell short.

It was Kevin Yu's first career PGA Tour victory. Beau Hossler remains winless after six seasons and 200 starts as a member of the Tour.
