Who won the 2024 Senior Open Championship? Leaderboard explored

The 2024 Senior Open Championship concluded on Sunday, July 28 at Carnoustie Golf Club in Scotland. The course once again proved to be a challenging test of golf as only 11 players broke par.

KJ Choi won the Senior Open Championship with a score of 10 under. Richard Green finished second, two shots behind the Korean.

KJ Choi carded an eagle, four birdies and four bogeys in the fourth round of the Senior Open Championship. The Korean was the only player on the field to shoot all his rounds under par (69 - 69 - 70 - 70).

Choi, 54, played for 20 years on the PGA Tour, where he won eight events, including the 2011 Players Championship. He currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions, where he had one win before winning the Senior Open Championship.

Richard Green earned his second runner-up finish of the season in a major after losing to Richard Bland in the Senior PGA Championship. Bernhard Langer once again showed his extraordinary athletic longevity with a T5 finish.
