Tiger Woods will miss this year's WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play

Tiger Woods will miss the forthcoming WGC-Dell Technologies MatchPlay, which will take place from March 22 to March 29 at the Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas.

Woods has already clarified that he will not be available for the full PGA Tour calendar, citing his injury problems.

The 82 times winner on the PGA Tour had a serious accident two years ago and is still recovering from injuries. He hasn't played much since his return. Last year, he played three majors and unofficial events like the PNC Championship and Capital One's The Match.

He revealed his plans in a CBS interview:

"Competitively, you know, I don't know my goal. You know, each and every year from here going forward, my goal is playing all the majors, and I'm not going to play too much more than that. My body, my leg, just my back, just won't allow me to play much more than that anymore.
"Um, so that was my goal last year, and I was able to play three of the four. Um, you know, this year hopefully, I can play all four. This year, and that's gonna be my schedule going forward because of all the limitations I have."
