Will Michael Block play in the US Open 2023? PGA Championship breakout star’s next major chances explored

Michael Block became the talk of the town after his worth-watching performance at the 2023 PGA Championship. At one point in the tournament, he was just one stroke behind the leader but ended up finishing 15th in the Major. Unfortunately, it was not enough for him to qualify for the US Open.

Michael Block stands at 577th in OWGR, which is far from qualifying for the third Major of the year. The US Open invites the top 60 golfers in the Officials World Golf Rankings. Block has played at the US Open twice in the past, but missed the cut.

Fans, on the other hand, want to see more of him on the golf course after the 2023 PGA Championship. He shot a round of 70 in the first round of the PGA Championship, including five birdies, three bogeys, and a double bogey. With a score of 70, he made four birdies and two bogeys on Day 2.

His performance was constant over the three days, and he shot a round of 70 on Saturday, May 20. Block began the fourth round with a bogey on the first hole before making an eagle on the 15th. He finished with a score of +1 along with Eric Cole and Tyrrell Hatton.
