Netflix's 'Full Swing' was released in February this year that reflected on the unseen aspects of the PGA Tour professionals. The eight-episode golf docu-series was a hit and the makers took no time in announcing the second part.

The new season of Full Swing will be released next year but the filming is currently going on at the 2023 PGA Championship as per some reports.

Barstool Sports' Daniel Rapaport tweeted that Rory McIlroy and Shan Lowry were seen chatting during the third round at Oak Hill.

He tweeted:

"Full Swing season 2 on deckkkkkk. Two Irish lads having a wee chat after a round in the p*****g down rain. Bet they want a pint."

Series producer Chad Mumm tweeted on Monday that he was heading to Rochester for the second major of the season.

"Heading to Rochester, PGA Championship here we come. S2 let’s go."

He also hinted that their cameras were following the players in the ongoing event while reacting to the Tom Kim mud bath incident on the first day of the PGA Championship.

The first season was released in February, featuring 13 golfers: Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Brooks Koepka, Scottie Scheffler, Ian Poulter, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Matt Fitzpatrick, Sahith Theegala, Joel Dahmen, Mito Pereira, and Cameron Young.

Full Swing Season 1 focussed on all four of the Majors and concluded with the PGA FedEx Cup Playoffs. As per Mumm, over 700 hours of footage was shot.

The inaugural season revolved around various themes, including the camaraderie between Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth, Scottie Scheffler's triumphant victory at the Masters, Koepka's battle with his performance, and subsequent choice to join LIV Golf.

Other episodes focussed on the journeys of Ian Poulter, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rory McIlroy, Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau, Mito Pereira, and Sahith Theegala.

As per reports, Max Homa was filmed during the Waste Management Phoenix Open, his home tournament where he finished runner-up this year.

Full Swing makers Vox Media and Box to Box Films have previously produced the hugely successful F1: Drive to Survive.
