ShopRite LPGA Classic 2025 featured groups for Day 1 ft. Nelly Korda & Maja Stark

The ShopRite LPGA Classic is the LPGA Tour's next stop after completing the US Women's Open last week, where Maja Stark emerged victorious. The ShopRite LPGA Classic will take place at the Bay Course from Friday, June 6, to Sunday, June 8, for a three-day tournament.

The ShopRite LPGA Classic will have a star-studded field fighting for the $1.75 million total purse, and since the first round will be on Friday, the featured groups are already out. Hence, here's a list of five featured groups for the LPGA event:

1) Nelly Korda, Maja Stark, and Mao Saigo

Nelly Korda, Maja Stark, and Mao Saigo will tee off at 1:04 p.m. ET on tee 10 for the first round of the 2025 LPGA ShopRite Classic. This year, Korda's best finish came at the US Women's Open with a T2, and Stark’s best finish was a victory at the U.S. Women's Open pres. by Ally. Meanwhile, Saigo’s best performance was a victory at the Chevron Championship.

2) Ayaka Furue, Brooke Henderson, and Stacy Lewis

Ayaka Furue, Brooke M. Henderson, and Stacy Lewis will play at 1:15 p.m. ET on the 10th hole. This year, Furue’s best finish was a T2 at the HSBC Women's World Championship, and Henderson's best performance was a T12 at the Black Desert Championship. Lewis’ best finish was a T63 at the JM Eagle LA Championship pres. by Plastpro.

3) Lauren Coughlin, Jin Young Ko, and Rio Takeda

Lauren Coughlin, Jin Young Ko, and Rio Takeda will tee off for the LPGA Tournament at 12:53 p.m. ET on hole 10. This year, Ko’s best performance was a T2 at the Founders Cup pres. by U.S. Virgin Islands, and Takeda's best performance was a victory at the Blue Bay LPGA. 4) Jeeno Thitikul, Madelene Sagstrom, and Linnea Strom

Jeeno Thitikul, Madelene Sagstrom, and Linnea Strom will tee off at 7:59 a.m. ET on the first hole. This year, Thitikul’s best performance was a triumph at the Mizuho Americas Open, and Sagstrom’s best finish was a T19 at the U.S. Women's Open pres. by Ally. Strom’s best finish was a T29 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions.

5) Chisato Iwai, Patty Tavatanakit, and Akie Iwai

Chisato Iwai, Patty Tavatanakit, and Akie Iwai will start to play at 7:48 a.m. ET on the first hole. This year, Chisato won the MEXICO Riviera Maya Open, while Akie had a T2 each at the Honda LPGA Thailand and the JM Eagle LA Championship. Tavatanakit’s best finish was a T4 at the Honda LPGA Thailand.
