Tvesa Malik takes lead in Usha Open golf

New Delhi - Junior golfer Tvesa Malik grabbed the lead at the end of the first round in the third Usha Delhi Golf Club Ladies Open with a card of one-over 73 here on Tuesday.

The young golfer was one ahead of Ridhima Dilawari (74) and three ahead of Usha Eastern India Ladies champion, Amandeep Drall (76), who was tied with Gauri Monga (76). Millie Saroha, the Usha Northern India Ladies winner, shot 78 and was lying fifth.

The same set of golfers also led the leaderboard for the Usha Golf Trophy, which is being played simultaneously for golfers with a handicap of 14 and below.

Tvesa had three birdies and four bogeys in her card, while Ridhima had two birdies and four bogeys.
