The 54-hole Walmart NW Arkansas Championship came to a close at Pinnacle Country Club.
Japan’s Ayako Uehara had the shot of the day, a hole-in-one on the par-three 17th.
After shooting par the first two days, she shot a 67 to finish four under in a group tied for 25th.
The second-ranked woman in the world, Stacy Lewis began the day as the co-leader and local favourite.
Unfortunately the University of Arkansas alumnus struggled to get going and had three birdies, a bogey and a double for a par round of 70. She closed at 10 under par, tied for fourth place with Lydia Ko.
The 16-year-old Kiwi, the top-ranked amateur in the world, put together her second straight bogey-free round, shooting a three-under 68.
Suzann Pettersen has five top-three results this season, but finished in a share of seventh in Arkansas. The Norwegian shot a clean card of 67 to close the tournament at nine under.
Defending champion Ai Miyazato finished at eight under. The Japanese had seven birdies and four birdies in her final round, coming in with a 68.
South Korea’s Inbee Park sank an eight-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to take the lead at 12 under.
But then fellow countrywoman So Yeon Ryu did simliar to set up a Korean playoff.
Both women had the chance to sink the first playoff hole for a birdie.
Ryu narrowly missed, leaving Park to calmly sank hers for her second straight win in a playoff:
“It’s never getting easier. I’ve been in two playoffs the last two weeks and I mean it’s just been really hard and you know I had a good result and I mean it was tough playing with a good friend, a good friend of mine in the playoff – I mean, it just felt really weird playing with her. It felt like a practice round.”
