Alex Noren, 15-under, joint leader
“It was a great day, it was fantastic on the greens, just like number one. I played really nice, you know, most of the time, a few bad ones maybe, but it was a good round.”
Thomas Bjorn 14-under
“No I’m in a state right now where I’m building confidence. Early parts of the season I was very uncomfortable on the golf course. At the moment I’m building up confidence, three top-ten’s (finishes) in the last four tournaments has certainly done that and now it’s time to knuckle down and try and win a golf tournament, but there is a lot of good players on that leaderboard and you’ve got to go out and play well. So I’m just going to try and knuckle down tomorrow and do my best and see where it takes me.”
Ernie Els, 15-under, joint leader
“Yeah, you know in a way. I was playing so nicely that I felt I’m trying to pull away from the field and then the opposite happened and I made some mistakes. I’m in a good position still, you know, hanging onto a lead, or a co-lead now and tomorrow is all to play for.”
