Scottie Scheffler dominated the landscape of men's professional golf in 2024. With the regular PGA Tour season concluding, the world number one golfer has begun prep for the 2025 season.
Dr. Troy Van Biezen DC, is a world-renowned performance coach and is the Director of Performance and Sports Science for the Dallas Stars. He has trained players on the PGA Tour for over 21 years; he took to his Instagram platform with 19.4 thousand followers to give us an insight into Scheffler's off-season workouts.
In the videos shared by the instructor, Scheffler was seen doing Bulgarian split squats with a pair of dumbbells. After a couple of reps, the PGA Tour superstar dropped the weight and ended the set with jumps. The Olympian proceed to go on the standing hack squat machine.
Scheffler also performed sled pushes with a plate on it to promote a powerful and more stable golf swing. He then went into med ball slams and single arm extensions in a split stance.

Scottie Scheffler on 2025 Masters' Champions Dinner Menu
It has been a long-standing tradition for the reigning Masters champion to host a dinner for all former Green Jacket winners at the following year's tournament. In an interview with Golf's Subpar podcast, Scottie Scheffler talked about his plans for the dinner in 2025 at Augusta National.
He said (via PGA Tour):
"I’m wondering if I should just have the exact same menu. It was pretty good; it’s all my favorite foods. I don’t know really what I could do differently. I think it would be kind of fun just to have the exact same food.”
Having won the iconic green jacket in 2022, Scheffler hosted the traditional dinner in 2023. The Olympian served cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp with sweet Thai chili, and Sriracha mayo, along with a tortilla soup with avocado, blue tortilla strips, sour cream, cilantro, and lime.
According to Golf.com, the soup was "a blend of chicken broth, onions, garlic, and presumably, no shortage of chili powder and/or cayenne pepper." The dish left many of the guests in splits due to the spiciness. Sir Nick Faldo said, "One spoonful was too much for me. It was way too hot, too spicy.”
For the main dish, he gave the former winners the option of having either a Texas ribeye steak or a blackened redfish, both served with family-style mac and cheese, jalapeno creamed corn, fried brussels sprouts, and seasoned fries. Scheffler completed the dinner with a warm chocolate chip skillet cookie served with milk and cookies ice cream.
