Guido Migliozzi is playing in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Golf Event. The Italian is at the top of the leaderboard as he is tied for eighth place with a score of 7 under.
Migliozzi was born in 1997 in Vincenza, Italy. He began his professional career in 2016 and joined the Alps Tour and Challenge Tour in 2017. The following year, he already had three wins on the Alps Tour, earning him a spot on the Q-School of the European main circuit.
The Italian finished 13th in the Q-School, which earned him his DP World Tour card for the 2019 season. Since then, he has become a consistent player at this level.
In fact, the best season of his career was the 2019 season. In that year, he won two DP World Tour events (Magical Kenya Open and Belgian Knockout) and finished in the top 10 twice in 28 tournaments (17 cuts).
Guido Migliozzi returned to the DP World Tour winner's circle in 2022 when he won the Cazoo Open de France. His fourth Tour victory came at the KLM Open in 2024. His career record on the DP World Tour includes four wins, four runner-up finishes, and nine other top-10s. In 2021, he finished 16th in the Race to Dubai, a place he could improve on in 2024 (currently ranked 10th).

Guido Migliozzi's career includes participating in 14 PGA Tour events, most co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour. His best finishes include a T13 at the 2021 Travelers Championship.
As for major championships, Guido Migliozzi has appeared in seven editions, making the cut four times. His best result is a T4 at the 2021 US Open, which is also his only top 10 in events at this level.
Migliozzi represented Italy in golf at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games. He carded rounds of 71, 65, 68, and 72 (8-under) to finish T32, 10 shots behind champion Xander Schauffele.
Playing in his second Olympic Games, Guido Migliozzi played the first round at 3-under thanks to an eagle, three birdies, and two bogeys. The Italian improved during the second round, carding six birdies and two bogeys for a 4-under total to bring his score for the event to 7-under. The event is led by Xander Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama, and Tom Kim, all on 11 under.
Migliozzi has a long history of representing Italy. As an amateur, he played in the European Boys Team Championship four times (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015), the Eisenhower Trophy twice (2014, 2016), and the European Amateur Team Championship once (2016).
As a professional, he represented his country at the 2018 European Championships and the 2021 Olympic Games. Migliozzi has also represented the continent of Europe in the Jacques Léglise Trophy, the St Andrews Trophy, and the Hero Cup.
