Tiger Woods tees off at the first hole during the final round of the $6.1 mln CIMB Classic golf tournament at The Mines Resort and Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur, on October 28. Woods birdied five of his first nine holes to come roaring back into contention in the event.

The 14-time Major winner, trailing by five shots overnight, started with three straight birdies and added two more on six and seven in an astonishing half-round.
He picked up another shot on the par-four 10th to be 17-under for the tournament at Malaysia’s par-71 Mines Resort and Golf Club, two strokes back from joint leaders Chris Kirk and Bo Van Pelt as play continued.
