Adam Cole suffered shoulder labrum tears and has reportedly opted not to have surgery. In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that Cole decided to undergo physical therapy on his shoulder instead of invasive surgical procedures.

Specialized cartilage tissue in the shoulder is known as the labrum, and injuries can cause pain and instability in the shoulder. The labrum is a cup-shaped rim of cartilage that supports the ball-and-socket joint of the shoulder.

The shoulder joint is composed of the glenoid (socket) and the head of the upper arm bone, also known as the humerus (ball). The labrum helps with shoulder stability and, when torn, can lead to partial or complete shoulder dislocation. Shoulder anatomy is quite complex and athletes often get injured in such events.
