Ryan Shepard, who served as Eminems stunt double in the early 2000s, has tragically passed away at the age of 40.

How Did Eminems Stunt Double, Ryan Shepard Die?

Ryan Shepard was most notably known as Eminem's stunt double in the early 2000s. He tragically passed away in early January. His brother Kyle, told TMZ that Ryan tragically lost his life after being hit by a southbound pickup truck while attempting to cross the street.

The accident occurred while he was stepping onto an intersection of Olympia Street at 14th avenue, in Kennewick, Washington around 2:45 AM.

Emergency responders who arrived shortly after the accident took place. He was rushed to the hospital by them, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. The driver who was p[art of the collision even stayed back to cooperate. It was unfortunately too late. However, the driver showed no signs of intoxication. It seemed to be a tragic and unforeseen circumstance.

Shepard worked as Eminems stunt double, photo double, and even flew into the MTV awards as a stand-in for Eminem's superhero character, Rapper Boy.

He toured alongside the rapper across Japan and Europe, and even appeared as his body double in D12's music video for "Purple Hills".

His brother Kyle even said that Ryan was an incredibly intelligent man. After stepping away from the music industry, he went on to work at Disney as a ride mechanical engineer, and then moved to Elon Musk's SpaceX where he was a test automation engineer.

The news of Eminems stunt double Ryan Shepard's death has been upsetting, to say the least. Having passed away at such a young age, there's a lot that he hadn't achieved yet and had set his eyes on. He is survived by his brother, Kyle, and his two children, aged 11 and 7.
