Kitten Rock could return to action at Gowran Park next Saturday. Edward O'Grady is keen to get the six-year-old up and running this season but is waiting for the right conditions.

Having won on his chasing debut at Navan last November, he was no match for Shaneshill at Naas in January and has not been seen since.

Kitten Rock has been ready to run for a while but O'Grady has bided his time until the rain arrived.

"He was due to start off at Naas but the ground wasn't suitable," said the County Tipperary handler.

"I'll have to talk with Frank (Berry, owner JP McManus' racing manager) but he's in good form and will probably get an entry at Gowran Park in a winners-of-two race (over two and a half miles) next Saturday."
