Gavin Crowmell admits Jer's Girl faces a stiff task as she makes her reappearance in the Lismullen Hurdle at Navan on Sunday.

The four-year-old filly ended her spring campaign with Grade One victories in novice events at Fairyhouse and Punchestown and is now up against seasoned campaigners.

However, Cromwell reports JP McManus' charge to be ready to return to the fray.

"She's good and is as fit as I can get her without a run," said the County Meath handler. The two and a half miles is obviously no problem, but it's a very competitive race and a four-year-old in against the older horses first time out of novice company, it will be tough. She's in good nick, though."

Gordon Elliott is responsible for no fewer than five of the eight declared runners, headed by multiple Graded-race scorer Dedigout.

De Plotting Shed, Noble Endeavor, Taglietelle and Ucello Conti complete his team.

Willie Mullins saddles Shaneshill, who is having his first start since finishing second to last month's American Grand National Hurdle scorer Rawnaq in the United States six months ago.

Completing the octet is Noel Meade's Snow Falcon, who is fit from outings on the Flat and was a Grade Two winner over hurdles at Navan in February.
