Peregrine Run set to take up Friday option at Cheltenham

ATR

Peregrine Run is set to go in search of a fourth successive win at Cheltenham later this week.

Peter Fahey's Irish challenger has won his last three starts in his homeland, following up a maiden hurdle success at Down Royal with a handicap victory at Gowran and a Listed race triumph at Limerick.

The six-year-old holds entries in Friday's Neptune Investment Management Hyde Novices' Hurdle and the Sky Bet Supreme Trial on Sunday, with Fahey favouring the former.

He said: " Peregrine Run has two options at Cheltenham but is more than likely to go for the Neptune on Friday.

"He is in good old form and worked nicely the other morning. His performances this season have been very good and he seems to be an improving horse.

"Providing the ground is on the nice side, he should run a good race on Friday."
