Banagalore, December 19, 2013: Bangalore’s Premchand Singh, BSC ASC Centre and College is the goalkeeper who has been selected to participate in the final selection trials of Airtel Rising Stars, scheduled to take place in Goa in mid-February 2014.
25 footballers have been selected for Airtel Rising Stars’ Goa Tour, among them two goalkeepers from different cities. They have been shortlisted to attend a week-long camp-cum-selection trial conducted by coaches from Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS).
The players will be tested on parameters that include physical attributes, individual skills, match situations and performances in actual matches after which 11 of the best will be chosen to travel to Manchester in the United Kingdom for a week.
The on-ground execution of ‘Airtel Rising Stars’ has been entrusted to Procam International – India’s largest Sports marketing and Leisure Management company.
