Delhi qualifies for the final round of the 69th Santosh Trophy

The Delhi state senior team qualified for the final round of the 69th Senior National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy 2014/15. In the last group league match of the North Zone - Group B, Delhi and Haryana played out a goalless draw which led to Delhi finishing on seven points, while Haryana finished their group stage engagements on five points from the same number of matches.

In earlier North Zone - Group B matches, Delhi had beaten Himachal Pradesh 4-0 and Jammu&Kashmir 1-0; while Haryana had beaten Himachal Pradesh 3-0 but had drawn goalless against Jammu&Kashmir. In the final group game Jammu&Kashmir beat Himachal Pradesh 3-1 to finish third.
