Albino Gomes was the No.1 choice between the sticks for Aizawl FC in their miracle season. The ISL clubs signed most of the Aizawl FC players after their title-winning season and one of the players who switched Aizawl for ISL was Gomes. But, he picked up a knee injury against Jamshedpur FC, and the Goa-born goalkeeper could sit out the whole season.

Since then, Delhi Dynamos have lost both their matches with Sukhdev Patil conceded 5 goals against FC Goa. Arnab Das Sharma also let the Irish legend, Robbie Keane put the goal in the back of the net as Delhi lost another match and remained at the bottom of the table.

Now, the Delhi Dynamos manager Miguel Angel is said to be looking for a goalkeeper and is considering his options. Let's have a look at the some of the star foreign keepers who could sign for the ISL side.

Nikolai Zabolotny

Zabolotny came through at FC Zenit St. Petersburg, but hardly got any game time. So, he moved on to other clubs where like FC Spartak Moscow and FC Rostov where he played second fiddle.

His last move was to sign for FC Ural where he made 72 appearances in 3 seasons before mutually terminating his contract this year on September 8 for unknown reasons. He helped his side reach the final of the domestic cup in the 2015-16 season where they lost to Lokomotiv Moscow. He also made 24 appearances for the Russia U21 side.

At the age of 27 and also having experience of playing in the Russian Premier League, he is the perfect fit for the Delhi side. As he is entering his prime years, it would take a really attractive offer to bring the Russian to India.

The Italian came through the AS Roma academy and started playing for the first team at the tender age of 19. He made 60 appearances for his boyhood club, several of them coming at the European stage as well.

He helped his club win the Coppa Italia in two consecutive seasons, 2006-07 and 2007-08 while he did the cup double in 2007 as Roma won the Supercopa Italiana as well.

After that, he moved on to Sienna and made 70 appearances for them. In 2010, he moved to Sampdoria and made 41 appearances, his highest ever in a single season. Having made 22 appearances for the Italian national U-21 team, he got a call-up to the senior side but never made it to the pitch for the Azzurri.

He signed for Mainz in 2015 but left on 30th January 2017 and has been a free agent since then. A big money offer from Delhi could see the former Roma make a move to India.

The much celebrated Brazilian was part of the national side when they won the 2004 Copa America, 2009 Confederations Cup and 2013 Confederations Cup as well. He was in goal in Germany's 7-1 rout of Brazil in the semi-final of the 2014 World Cup, which ended his international career.

He signed for Inter Milan in 2005 and made 228 appearances for the club in his seven-year stay. He won 5 Serie A titles and a Champions League trophy as well in his time the club. In 2012, he moved on to QPR but couldn't save the side from relegation in his debut season in the Premier League.

After a six month stint in MLS with Toronto FC, he signed with Benfica and made 55 appearances for the club in over three years, winning three consecutive league titles. He terminated his contract with the club in November with mutual consent, though refused to confirm his retirement.

The 38-year old is on the cusp of retirement and Delhi could give him the perfect swansong which will surely increase their popularity as well as increase their shirt-sales across the world.

Coming through at Middlesbrough in the 2002-03 season, he made 27 appearances for the side over a period of seven years in which he went on loan six times. In his six loan moves, he made less than 60 appearances.

In 2009, Chelsea signed him as a back-up for Petr Cech and he made 8 league appearances in four years and a solitary Champions League appearance.

After single-season stints and a total of 50 appearances in two years with Championship club Doncaster Rovers and League One club Barnsley, he signed for Leeds United, but was soon released by the club earlier this year.

The former Chelsea keeper has the experience of playing across all three tiers of English football and the England junior sides as well. The 32-year-old will easily fit into the Delhi squad.

Hugo Ventura

He came through the FC Porto academy, but failed to nail down a starting spot at the club after making a few appearances. He has two league medals in his cabinet, as he made one appearance each in the 2007-08 and 2008-09 season.

He was sold to Bellenses and helped them finish sixth in the league, thus qualifying for the Europa League. Ventura had played in the Europa League but couldn't stop his side finishing bottom of the group. He made 58 appearances in his three-year stay at the club.

Ventura earned two call-ups to the senior Portugal squad four years apart in 2011 and 2015, but failed to make an appearance on either of the two occasions.

The 29-year old is still young and can easily sign for any other European club. Hence, it will take a big offer from Delhi to bring the two-time Primeira Liga winner to India.
