Vishal Kaith - 6/10

Kaith couldn't have done much about the first two goals, but could've done better with Luna's swerving free-kick.

Edwin Vanspaul - 6/10

Vanspaul put in a decent shift in an unfamiliar position. He completed 88% of his passes, and also delivered a fabulous cross that Justin headed over. The Chennaiyin FC left-back also made two tackles, an interception and two clearances on the night.

Narayan Das - 6/10

Das made a potentially goal-saving tackle late on in addition to making three clearances. However, he was beaten too easily by Stalin for the second Kerala Blasters goal. Das tried to hold things together at the back. but it all fell apart in the second half.

Deepak Devrani - 5.5/10

Devrani's difficult season continued as he struggled to deal with Vazquez and Pereyra Diaz. While he did make four clearances and an interception, he too was culpable for the first goal.

Jerry Lalrinzuala - 6/10

Aside from making a dangerous cross, Lalrinzuala contributed nothing going forward. He looked decent defensively in the first half, but couldn't do much to stop the Kerala Blasters from scoring twice immediately after the break.

Anirudh Thapa - 5.5/10

Thapa endured a poor outing, lacking a killer final pass and not being able to shield his defence. He delivered a few good passes, but his team need a lot more from their captain.

Germanpreet Singh - 5.5/10

Singh simply hasn't been at his best this season, struggling against Kerala Blasters' disciplined midfield.

Vladimir Koman - 6.5/10

Koman came close to opening the scoring, hitting the woodwork with an incredible free-kick. He remains one of the brightest spots in Chennaiyin FC's dismal campaign, but his influence faded away in the second half.

Rahim Ali - 5.5/10

Ali had another below-par outing, missing a couple of presentable opportunities. The Kerala Blasters seemed to have no problem dealing with him throughout the match.

Lukasz Gikiewicz - 6/10

Gikiewicz was good in the first half, often dropping deep to pick up the ball and charging at the opposition defence. However, aside from a goal ruled out for offside, he had no shots on target before he was taken off.

Jobby Justin - 5/10

Justin got into some excellent positions, but missed two glorious chances to score before he was subbed off at half-time.

Substitutes

Mirlan Murzaev - 6.5/10

Murzaev came on for Justin at half-time. He was one of Chennaiyin FC's better players going forward, coming close with a free-kick that went just over the crossbar.

Syed Suhail Pasha - 6/10

Pasha replaced Germanpreet Singh in the 61st minute. He made a tackle and a clearance, and also attempted a shot during his time on the pitch.

Nerijus Valskis - 5.5/10

Valskis came on for Gikiewicz in the 77th minute. He only had four touches of the ball, and didn't pose the same threat for Chennaiyin FC as the man he replaced.

Reagan Singh - 6/10

Singh replaced Thapa in the 77th minute. He delivered an excellent cross right at the end of the game, but Ali headed it over from a good position.

Ninthoi Meetei - N/A

Meetei came on for Vanspaul in injury time, but had no time to impact the game.
