In an interesting move certain to please Liverpool fans all over India, the club’s centre-back Daniel Agger is set to take charge of the Merseysider’s official India twitter feed.
Liverpool FC’s official India twitter feed, @IndiaLFC, managed in the capital and Liverpool, will deliver country-specific information to the Red’s ever-expanding Indian fan-base.
With a current following of about 4,000+, the feed not only give updates on the latest club and player news, but also acts as a platform for communication with the huge fan base.
Agger has a long connection with Idea, leading to his foundation, The Agger Foundation, which helped street children in India in September 2012 with a generous donation of £1500, following volunteer Kammilla Norregaard-Sarup, who works for charity organization LittleBigHelp, approached them for help to get slum children in Kolkata get off the streets.
