United Sikkim Football Club defender Sandesh Jhingan who sustained a groin injury during a training session at the National Team’s Preparatory Camp for the forthcoming AFC Challenge Cup 2014 (Qualifiers) has been released from the ongoing Camp in Pune.
Dempo SC defender Rowilson Rodrigues has been named as his replacement. Rowilson joins the Camp on February 23.
India are scheduled to play their first match against Chinese Taipei on March 2 followed by matches against Guam and hosts Myanmar on March 4th and March 6th respectively in the AFC Challenge Cup 2014 (Qualifiers).
