TAL Season 3 (Division 1): Gameweek 3 Preview

Horizons FC are already playing catch up to Parikrma FC and will be looking to cut down the gap as much as possible

8.30 AM: Yataghan Internazionale V Project 7

The 8:30 AM kickoff has Yataghan taking on Project 7. Yataghan put on a stout display last week when they pushed Horizons to the brink, but could not hold on. Project 7 on the other hand, were on the wrong end of the Parikrma juggernaut. Given these displays, we can expect Yataghan to come on top in this one, though Project 7 will not go down without a fight

Crystal Ball: Yataghan Internazionale 2-1 Project 7

10:00 AM: Gremio FC v Mavericks FC

Next, we have Gremio FC taking on Mavericks FC. Surprisingly, Mavericks are the in-form team coming into this game while Gremio is struggling to click into gear. Gremio might be boosted if some of their star players return to the line-up but until such a time, they need to find a way to make things work. Mavericks will take a lot of confidence form last week and with the form Gremio are in, they will look to provide the first major upset of the season.

Crystal Ball: Gremio FC 2-1 Mavericks FC

11:30 AM: Samba FC v Supernova FC

The final game of the morning session has Samba FC playing Supernova FC. Supernova FC were unconvincing in their victory over Kougen Kikou last week and can’t afford any slip-ups in their pursuit of the title. Samba look like a well drilled unit this season and might cause some serious problems to their rivals with their defensive stoutness.

Crystal Ball: Samba FC 1-1 Supernova FC

1:15 PM: Rare Dare FC v Mercurial FC

The afternoon session kicks off with Rare Dare FC pitted against Mercurial FC. Mercurial FC haven’t been in good form and will have to bring their ‘A’ game to get a result out of this game. Rare Dare look like a team on the rise and on paper, they should have this game in the bag. This will be a good chance for Mercurial to redeem themselves and get their season back on track.

Crystal Ball: Rare Dare FC 2-1 Mercurial FC

2:45 PM: Horizons FC v FC Kougen Kikou

The Horizons- Kougen Kikou game is up next as familiar foes renew their rivalries. Kougen Kikou have the talent to challenge the top teams and it all depends on the personnel at their disposal on matchday. Going by last week’s struggles against Yataghan, Horizons need to pick up their game if they are to keep pace with Parikrma and Supernova.

Crystal Ball: Horizons FC 1-0 FC Kougen Kikou

4:15 PM: Flipkart FC v Parikrma FC

We end the day with the game between Parikrma and Flipkart FC. Both teams are coming off wins albeit in contrasting fashions. Flipkart will need a robust game plan if they are to stop themselves from being yet another victim of Parikrma’s relentless title pursuit. Parikrma will treat this as just another game and will look to cement their position at the top of the table.

Crystal Ball: Flipkart FC 1-2 Parikrma FC
