India’s bid to host the 2017 FIFA Under-17 World Cup is in danger to be derailed by the Government of India, who still haven’t given the necessary guarantees and signatures for the AIFF to submit the final bid documents. Reasons behind this are to avoid a fiasco like the 2010 Commonwealth Games and further corruption around mega projects.
