Spectators at Roland Garros witnessed a compelling contest on Sunday, as defending champion Alcaraz mounted a remarkable comeback to overcome Sinner in the 2025 French Open men’s singles final. The Spaniard displayed exceptional resilience after falling behind by two sets. Sinner had asserted early control of the match, claiming the first two sets 6-4, 7-6. But Alcaraz clinched the following three sets to win the match, which lasted five hours and 29 minutes.

Brewer, one of the many tennis fans glued to the screens waiting for the claycourt to choose a winner, shared a story after the long match concluded. She shared a picture of her television screen with Carlos Alcaraz speaking after his hard-earned victory.

"Craziest match I have seen in a longest time," Brewer captioned the story with a trophy emoji.

Lindsay Brewer has shed light on the circumstances behind her unexpected departure from Indy NXT, the developmental series that feeds into IndyCar. Initially set to compete in the 2024 season with Juncos Hollinger Racing, Brewer's campaign came to an abrupt end after just eight races.

Team co-owner Ricardo Juncos acknowledged Brewer’s contributions during her stint with Juncos Hollinger Racing. However, he pointed to completing contractual commitments as the main factor behind the 28-year-old's departure from the team.

"Lindsay Brewer has been a valued member throughout her time at Juncos Hollinger Racing, and it has been a privilege to have her on the team. However, due to contractual obligations being unfulfilled, Lindsay will not be driving for the JHR Indy NXT programme for the time being. We wish her the best and hope she can return when able," Juncos said via Formula Scout.

However, Brewer claimed she struggled with the physical demands of the Indy NXT machines.

"The move to Indy NXT was maybe a big, too big of a jump for me as I really struggled with the physicality of those cars, so I switched my focus towards GT racing after that," she said via Lamborghini.

Lindsay Brewer began her racing career in karting before moving into car racing in 2015 through the United States Legends championship. After taking a break from competition, she returned in 2021, competing in TC America with a Honda Civic.

In 2022, Brewer made the jump to open-wheel racing by joining Exclusive Autosport in the USF Pro 2000 series. She impressed with an eighth-place finish in her debut but secured just one additional top-10 result during a part-time campaign that was impacted by a late-season entry. She finished 15th in the overall standings.

During her time in Indy NXT, Brewer’s top performances came at St. Petersburg and Laguna Seca, where she recorded a pair of 15th-place finishes.
