Hailie Deegan enjoys surfing adventure amid 'lake day with the fam'

On June 17, HMD Motorsports' Indy NXT driver, Hailie Deegan, posted a carousel of pictures on Instagram. The picture dump contained glimpses from her brief getaway "with the fam."

The 23-year-old posted a compilation of videos, offering a glimpse into her 'lake day with fam'. Deegan's post included two pictures and a video montage.

In the first picture, Hailie Deegan can be seen posing with her brothers, Hudson Deegan and Haiden Deegan, on a beach walkway with all three wearing a Hyperlite Storm protection surfing vest. The second picture shows her taking a mirror selfie in a yacht's rearview mirror, and the third is a video of her enjoying an electric hydrofoil surfboard, commonly known as an eFoil.

Hailie Deegan is one of the leading female drivers in American motorsports. She made a significant career shift in 2024 by moving from stock car racing to open-wheel competition. After racing in the ARCA Menards Series, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series, she ended her tenure with AM Racing in October of last year.

Deegan has since entered the Indy NXT series, the developmental ladder to IndyCar. Her switch came after five years in NASCAR, spanning from 2019 to 2024, and she has now begun the transition to the demands of open-wheel racing.

On March 31, Hailie Deegan unveiled her newest line of merchandise through her online store, using Instagram as the platform for the announcement. To promote the latest release, the 23-year-old American racer herself modeled the new T-shirts featured in the collection.

Deegan remains highly active on social media, frequently sharing updates that offer fans an inside look at both her personal and professional life. In the said post, the former NASCAR Xfinity Series competitor introduced her followers to the newly launched Indy NXT-themed T-shirts.

Deegan revealed the newest items in her merchandise lineup through a four-image carousel on social media. The release, made in partnership with her retail platform, Shop Hailie Deegan, highlighted the latest T-shirt designs. In the first image, Deegan is seen wearing the Indy NXT-themed shirt. The second features her in an HD silhouette design while holding another shirt with an American flag graphic. A close-up shot in the third image focuses on the back of the Indy NXT tee, and the final image again shows her in the HD silhouette design.

Deegan is in her rookie season of IndyCar's junior category, Indy NXT, in the #38 HMD Motorsports car. Notably, she is 19th in the championship standings with 82 points to her credit.
