Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing driver Graham Rahal is a six-time IndyCar race winner. The Ohio native has been in the sport since 2008 and has raced for quite a few teams over the years. These teams include Dreyer and Reinbold Racing, Newman-HAAS Racing, Sarah Fisher Racing, and Chip Ganassi Racing. He has been driving for his father's team since 2013.
In 2007, Rahal drove in the Champ Car World Series and became the youngest podium finisher in the series. He also competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the same year. The American driver got his maiden victory at St.Petersburg and became the youngest to do so at 19 years and 93 days.
How many children does Graham Rahal have?
Graham Rahal and his wife, Courtney Force, have two daughters together. Force gave birth to their elder daughter, Harlan Ann Rahal, in 2020, and their second daughter, Tinley Leighton Rahal, was born in September 2022
In an interview with Rich Eisen in 2021, Rahal opened up about how it feels to become a father and how fatherhood changes the perspective on life and racing.
"It changes things. I mean, I know you and I talked about kids before and the joy that it brings to life. And there really is. You don't get it until you have one. And now I've got one, and I get it," he said on The Rich Eisen Show (0:29 onwards).
The couple is currently expecting their third child. The pair recently shared the exciting news via a collaborative Instagram post. The post was captioned:
"Surprise! Baby Rahal #3 coming this fall! 🍁 We can’t wait to complete our family! 🤍"
Who is Graham Rahal married to?
The car #15 driver is married to second-generation Force driver Courtney Force. The couple met via X (formerly called Twitter) in 2013. During an interview in 2016, Rahal recalled their first interaction. He said:
“One day, I was scrolling through Twitter, and her name popped up. She had followed me, but I hadn’t followed her, so I clicked ‘Follow."
The couple drove for their father's respective teams at the time. Courtney Force raced for her father John Force's team, called John Force Racing, while Rahal continues to drive for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, co-owned by his father. This also served as a common ground for the couple.
During an interview in 2016 with IndyCar.com, Graham Rahal spoke about the same saying:
“There are only a handful of people in the world who could understand the pressure I have. Living in (our dads’) shadow and following in their footsteps, you don’t find a lot of people who can relate to something like that.”
The pair tied the knot in a ceremony held in California in 2015.
