So far in the 2025 racing season, only two drivers have managed to win races. Alex Palou is often the de facto favorite for any race coming up, owing to his three championship victories in the previous few years and an astonishing five race victories of the seven races held in the season.

On the other hand, Kyle Kirkwood has managed to be the sole driver able to stop the Spaniard in the path of race victory this year. But, the upcoming race at the World Wide Technology Raceway might add another name to the winner's list as Kirkwood and Palou have not even managed a podium finish around the egg-shaped track.

Meanwhile, Josef Newgarden has a great chance of winning the race as he has won five editions of the elusive event and is the reigning winner at the track.

Everything you need to know about the 2025 IndyCar Bommarito Automotive Group 500 schedule

The Bommarito Automotive Group 500 will take place at the infamous World Wide Technology Raceway for a total of 260 laps of racing and have a shortened, two-day race weekend:

Saturday, June 14

Practice 1: 11:30 AM ET

Qualifications: 3:00 PM ET

High Line and Final Practice: 5:30 PM ET

What time will the race start?

Sunday, June 15

Race: 8:00 PM ET

The race weekend at the 1.25-mile track is fast-tracked, but it has one trick up its sleeve to make the racing action better on Sunday, with the High Line practice session. It enabled the upper groove of the track to get some rubber laid onto it, which makes overtaking on race day an easier affair for the chasing car.
