The Gujarat Giants will cross swords with the Chennai Quick Guns in the final of the Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha, on Saturday, January 13.
The Quick Guns, who missed out on making it to the final in the inaugural edition, will be aiming to have their hands on the silverware. Their quest for the title last season was cut short by the Telugu Yoddhas in the eliminator.
Interestingly, this time around, they defeated the Yoddhas in the semi-final to set a date with Gujarat in the final.
Chennai ended the league phase by dominating the pole position, registering seven wins and suffering just one defeat in 10 games. Their only defeat was a 41-18 reverse against the Mumbai Khiladis.

Defending champions, the Gujarat Giants, also impressed in the league phase, accumulating six wins and suffering three defeats in 10 games. They ended Odisha's title race after defeating them 29-27 in a closely fought encounter in the first semi-final.
Sanket Kadam was impressive with his attack, while Suyash Gargate claimed the defender of the game for Gujarat in the knockout tie. Sanket claimed a total of six touchpoints, while all-rounder Suyash amassed 12 touchpoints.
