We have news from the middle! Unfortunately our worst fears have come true as the match has been abandoned courtesy of the wet outfield. Certainly not the end ACCB must have been looking for to what has been a disastrous campaign for them but nonetheless, they'll want to return next edition and put in a better performance.

A flurry of boundaries towards the end have ensured that Baneasa have finished up with a decent total, after they were struggling massively at one stage. Wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals which completely arrested the momentum out of their innings. Abdul Shakoor walked in and provided some impetus but at the fall of his wicket in the seventh over, they were trudging along at a miserly pace.

Adnan Hanif was the star with the bat as he smacked the bowlers all around the park which completely changed the momentum going into the second innings. With Baneasa having gotten themselves to a respectable total, they will certainly be hoping to go out there and defend it. After nine good overs, ACCB have conceded 20 runs in the tenth and that just might prove to be their undoing. An interesting chase awaits us. Stay tuned!
