Bergamo CC win by 76 runs.
Bergamo CC 155/5 (10 overs) Albano 79/6 (10 overs)
The opening game of ECS Italy, Brescia 2024 has turned out to be a DEMOLITION JOB. Bergamo CC were head and shoulders above their opponents in this match and end up winning this with a bonus point.
While everyone who got an opportunity chipped in with vital contributions, the star of the show was Baljit Singh. His half century helped them set up a big score on the board and his opening spell rocked the Albano batting line up in the powerplay itself.
Other major contributors were Sandeep Gill - who scored an enthralling 46 (17), Gurwinder Singh - who returned figures of 2/11 in his 2 overs - and Mandeep Singh - who played a handy cameo with the bat and took a good catch to dismiss Anmol Singh.
Albano will have to pick themselves up off the floor after this loss. But the good thing is that it is a long series that does give you the chance to bounce back.

Almost took it too casually there. Sandeep Gill is the culprit.

8.1 Dara Shikoh to Kamaljit Singh, good length slower off-break around off-stump. A play and a miss on the back foot through the line, no run.
Dara Shikoh [1-0-5-1] to bowl now.
Rajpal Singh bowled at decent pace and hit the right areas more often than not in that over. He mixed the hard lengths with the odd full ball and has decent returns to show for his efforts. 50 more runs to win a point for Albano. Looks unlikely from here on. But you never say never.
