This has been an absolutely comprehensive victory for the Civadate side! They set up a massive target for Albano to chase and with the ball, they were incredible as they never gave a chance to their opponents. They won by a massive margin of 48 runs in the end.
The Albano batters didn't get going from the word go and struggled to find the acceleration at key stages of the game. Dev Cheema was the only player to play an innings of substance but his knock came a little bit too late in the end. Ranjot Singh played a few shots in his 19 run innings but even that wasn't going to be enough as the target was always going to be beyond their reach.
For the Civadate bowlers, they were on the money right from the beginning and the game was clinched by their opening bowlers who picked up 3 wickets in the powerplay and gave away just 25 runs. They bowled consistently in the right areas and built up the pressure, Towards the end, the Albano batters did score some runs, but they were never going to count in the course of the game.
