Gozo win under the most extreme of circumstances! They have been able to defend 65 runs and pick up yet another close victory. But this was a game for American University of Malta to win. Their batting was way below par on the whole, and in the end, all the mistakes they made in the innings, came back to haunt them!

The start was good for AUM, but from the moment the wickets started falling, things changed. The runs were not coming, the extra runs on offer were not taken, the batting was not crafty enough and the big hitting was missing. Add to that, some impressive bowling from Stivey Roy and company and Gozo were able to put the big squeeze on AUM.

Gozo themselves were untidy in the field, dropping catches, missing run out opportunities and misfielding, but even then, managed to get the job done, thanks to some indifferent batting from their opponents.

It was a nail-biting game for sure and one that swung from one side to the other in the second innings, but this means that the next T10 match between these very sides will only add to the excitement!
