Asian Latina beat Roma Gladiatori by 5 runs!

Rather unexpectedly, Asian Latina managed to stifle the Roma Gladiatori run chase in the end. In the beginning, this was quite unlike yesterday's performance when these two teams had last met.

Asian Latina had put up a huge total on the board yesterday but Gladiatori just could not get going and managed to succumb to the pressure.

However, things were different today. Mubarak Hossain got them off to a fabulous start and played a captain's knock while doing so. Harpreet, Mukhtiar Singh and Muneeb Niazi all chipped in from time to time to ensure that there were no hiccups along the way.

However, things changed drastically for them in the last two overs of the game. Needing just fifteen runs to win off twelve balls, Asian Latina managed to squeeze the run chase and restrict Roma Gladiatori.

This was one of the biggest heists in ECS cricket! This win will give a lot of confidence to Asian Latina as they progress further into the tournament.
