Krunal Pandya, Baroda Captain - Really excited and the boys have played really good cricket. We've been put under pressure but they've responded really well. We're just making sure that we can get stronger as a team. We've constantly gotten better over a period of time. Looking forward to the finals now.

Abhimanyu Singh, Man of the match - The third wicket was my favorite as I managed to deceive the batsmen. We had to use a lot of variations and it did work to our advantage.

Riyan Parag , Assam Captain - It's a young bunch of boys and they've played some great cricket. I've played junior cricket with a lot of these lads and we have some great understanding. The boys were expressing themselves and having a lot of fun. I like to bat at number 4 and take the initiative. It took me some time to learn how to block out the noise but I'm glad that i learnt it the hard way. Overall, really proud of the boys.

Right so ,it was Bhanu Pania who finished things off in the end and Baroda have clinched a comfortable win over Assam here in the second semifinal. There was a slight hiccup with the loss of those wickets later on but they romped home to a win. They will face off against Punjab in the finals now and they will be really high on confidence at having trounced Assam by 6 wickets and with 23 balls to spare.

16.1 Akash Sengupta to Bhanu Pania, FOUR! And that's the GAME for Baroda. They can roar "Game Maari Che" (The game is ours) and they're into the finals of Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy 2023. It was fuller length ball on off stump. Pania cleared his front leg and went down the ground and fetched himself a boundary to finish the match.
