As expected, the Bangladesh Kings getting to the target with much ease in the end then. Skyways did keep it tight in the powerplay but that effort just wasn't going to be enough given the runs they had on the board. They needed to pick wickets right from the start and all the way which they couldn't. Sofiqul Islam took on the attack right after the powerplay and that over killed even the slightest chance for Skyways to pose a fight in the game. A 10-ball 23 run cameo from him that was quite enough to put his side on line for a comprehensive win. Nothing much the bowlers could really have done. Still a decent effort to take the chase beyond seven overs.

This win will certainly be a huge morale booster for the Kings as they totally outplayed their opponents in every department of the game. They bowled exceedingly well to restrict Skyways to a paltry score which was never going to be enough. They were tight with what they bowled and the key in this format is to pick wickets and maintain control right through, which they did. A horror show with the bat for the Skyways and some pondering for them to do with that going ahead. Not a lot to do for the batsmen really, as far as the Kings were concerned and got through comfortably enough as well.

A one-sided affair that and one to quickly forget for the Skyways and regroup. The Kings would certainly draw inspiration from this game going forward and will look to continue this performance. That's all from this game as I (Rishab) and my colleague, Lavil, take your leave. Stay tuned for all the action from the final game of the day coming your way in just a bit!
That's the game for the Bangladesh Kings then! A pretty convincing win in the end and a dominating all-round show. A result that they have deserved, finished off in some style!
7.1 Babar Ali to Muhammad Masood, FOUR! Full length ball outside the off stump, Masood drives the ball away with some force to the extra cover region for a boundary to end the chase. Bangladesh Kings CC win the match by 8 wickets
Interesting that this chase has come this far! The batsmen seem to be in a no hurry. Not that they need to be anyway. Scores tied now and the Kings on the verge of a convincing win then!

Definitely looked like a suspect action from Babar Ali there. Nothing from the umpires though as he's bowled out a tidy over here. Was good to see a slip in place as well. Yorking the batsmen and that was tight! Sneaking in a good over but won't affect the inevitable!
