Pitch Report
It's a wonderful venue. 73-metre straight boundary. 61 metres and 69 metres square of the wicket. The surface looks very smooth. It's very hard and like my hairstyle, very smooth and flat.

That brings us to the end of our coverage for this CPL encounter. Keep following Sportskeeda for all the latest sporting news but for now this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) biding adieu.
Barbados Royals won by 10 runs (DLS method)
Quinton de Kock 48(30) | Naveen Ul Haq 2/34(3) Justin Greaves 61*(52) | Roshon Primus 1/23(1)
So the rain has the final say but before the rain break, the Barbados Royals had got into a strong position and eventually won the game by 10 runs on Duckworth Lewis method. You can't really help when the rain is around but the Barbados Royals will be a happy unit having won their third game on the trot. The target of 177 didn't look a massive one but the Falcons had posted something where the bowlers could come into play.
The start proved to be a disastrous one for the Royals. Rahkeem Cornwall played six dot balls before perishing at the hands of Chris Green in the second over. Alick Athanaze joined Quinton de Kock in the middle and the duo started redirecting the innings. After three tight overs where only 13 runs came, both the left-handers made use of the fielding restrictions, finding boundaries quite regularly in the next three overs.
A score of 48 at the end of 6 overs looked a more than decent one and the platform was set for the rest of the batters to see it through. Athanaze was run out at a crucial juncture of the game but it didn't stop De Kock from expressing himself. He blazed his way to a 30-ball 48 which included four fours and two sixes. Roshon Primus had a tough time in his only over where he conceded 23 runs.
However, he did pick the wicket of Quinton de Kock. Out came David Miller in the middle to join the skipper Rovman Powell and the duo capitalised on anything loose. When rain brought an abrupt end to proceedings, Miller was unbeaten on 19 off 13 deliveries while Powell had reached 15 off 11 deliveries. Chris Green and Roshon Primus were the only wicket takers with a wicket each.
11:16 PM local time, 08:46 AM IST: The match has been abandoned. It's still raining heavily which means that the Barbados Royals win their third contest in a row.
10:54 PM local time, 08:24 AM IST: The rain is back again and it's coming down pretty heavy. The covers are back on. Definitely not the sight you want to see as a cricket lover. the Barbados Royals are ahead by 10 runs. Its coming down heavily now.
14.3 Mohammad Amir to David Miller, pace-off delivery into the surface, a shade outside off which has been pulled away towards the deep midwicket region for a single.
14.2 Mohammad Amir to Rovman Powell, slower delivery on a good-length a shade outside off, punched away towards the mid-off region from the crease and rolls the strike over.
14.1 Mohammad Amir to David Miller, back of a length delivery a shade outside off, a defensive dab towards the backward point fielder and takes a quick single.
Right then, the players are making their way out in the middle. Mohammad Amir [2-1-8-0] will start off after the rain break.
10:42 PM local time, 08:12 AM IST: The rain seems to have stopped and the covers are coming off again. Hopefully we are not too far away from a restart. We haven't lost any overs yet.
10:21 PM local time, 07:51 AM IST: Good news folks. The rain has stopped and the covers have been removed. We should get underway pretty soon. Scratch the previous update folks. Just as I am typing, the covers are coming back on as the drizzle has returned. We are still a fair way away from losing overs. The Royals are 12 run ahead on DL/s and will be adjudged winners if the match doesn't restart.
10:12 PM local time, 07:42 AM IST: The umpires have signalled the groundsmen to run in with the covers. The rain has picked up all of a sudden. Hopefully, this is not a long break.

13.5 Kofi James to David Miller, FOUR! Flatter down leg, Miller waits for it, uses the depth of the crease and pulls it away perfectly in the gap down towards the deep backward square leg boundary.
13.4 Kofi James to David Miller, pushes this good-length delivery around middle, back to the bowler.
13.3 Kofi James to Rovman Powell, on a fuller-length around the pads, worked away towards the square leg region for a single.

Was a fuller-length delivery a shade outside off, blasted flat and hard down the ground, Green with an outstretched dive, takes the catch but couldn't parry that back in time.
