It was a bit of an anti-climax in the end as Taha Hassan conceded five wides to end proceedings but it can't take anything away from the superb batting effort of the Aachen. They needed 98 to win and they've made really light work of it in the end as they win by 8 wickets and 3 overs to spare.

They began in brisk fashion as Muaaz was up and running early on and put on a real show. He went berserk in the powerplay despite the loss of two early wickets and had no intention of holding himself back. He played a gem of an innings of 44 in the end. Rahim joined forces with him and put up a really good partnership that put the Aachen on the drivers seat in this contest. He remained unbeaten in the end and saw the PSV Aachen through.

The Spartans bowlers didn't really have anything to show for and they struggled to defend this low total. Tauqeer Khan picked up a couple of wickets to make things interesting for a while but Muaaz soon took the momentum away from them. Mustafa was the only other bowler who took a wicket towards the end, but the damage had already been done by that time and the game had slipped away from their hands.

The keeper merely put out a palm trying to gather the ball, had no chance at it, and let it through to the boundary!
