Mohammad Hafeez (Joburg Buffaloes Captain) - I think it's all about confidence. The game we lost we felt we should've won and I felt that we showed good character in this game. Everyone is in good touch, so I want to give a chance to all that's the thinking behind it. Everyone is looking for the challenge tomorrow and it's an important game for us.
Blessing Muzarabani is adjudged Player of the match for his brilliant bowling figures of 2-0-7-3
Joburg Buffaloes won by 9 wickets Mohammad Hafeez 40(23) | Rahmanullah Gurbaz 27(12) Blessing Muzarabani 3-7(2) | Tom Curran 1-10(1)
What a commanding performance from the Buffaloes as they were sensational in all departments of the game right from the word go. Muzarabani and Nyavuchi did the damage with the ball and restricted the opposition to a par score and in reply, Cottrell started off well but it was a big surprise to see him not bowl his second over when the wicket was assisting pace and swing
Curran's bowling choices raised a lot of eyebrows and moreover, the Samp Army didn't have a pacer who can hit the deck hard and bowl over 140kph. Hafeez played some brilliant shots and when Hatzoglou came to bowl his second over, Bopara decided to take him on and smashed 23 runs off his over to make things easier for his team
6.5 Sheldon Cottrell to Ravi Bopara, that's game set and match for the Joburg Buffaloes. Short of a length delivery down the leg side, pulled away towards the deep fine leg region and seals the deal for his team. Buffaloes win by 9 wickets.
6.4 Sheldon Cottrell to Ravi Bopara, SIX! Bopara shuffles across the off-stump and launches this fuller-length delivery around off well over the long-off fence for a maximum. That was nailed yet again, these two have made it look ridiculously easy.
6.3 Sheldon Cottrell to Mohammad Hafeez, Hafeez nudges away the length delivery around the pads towards the fine leg region for a single.
6.2 Sheldon Cottrell to Mohammad Hafeez, a mistimed swipe across the line on this occasion. Falls just short of the diving Rahmanullah Gurbaz who was charging in from deep midwicket. A couple of runs taken.
6.1 Sheldon Cottrell to Mohammad Hafeez, SIX! The Joburg Buffaloes are making light work of this target. Short of a length delivery from Cottrell, Hafeez goes for the pull, bit of a slice but carries all the way over the deep square leg fence.
Sheldon Cottrell comes back into the attack
Expensive over from Hatzoglou. Don't know whether this is the right time to give him the over but Tom Curran gave and the Samp Army paid heavy price as 23 runs came from it

5.6 Peter Hatzoglou to Ravi Bopara, Bopara goes for a mighty swing through the line. Fuller a shade outside off and the outside edge flies over short third man and Bopara has enough time to rotate for a brace.
5.5 Peter Hatzoglou to Ravi Bopara, SIX! That was again on a hard-length around middle stump, Bopara makes some space and launches this down the ground, didn't get the timing he was after, Curran who was standing at the long-off fence makes a meal of that, bursts through his hands and to rub salt to the wound, it clears the fence.
5.4 Peter Hatzoglou to Ravi Bopara, FOUR leg byes! This over is just taking the game away from Samp Army. A flatter trajectory delivery angling down leg, Bopara tries to swipe it away across the line, brushes his trousers, beating the short fine leg fielder for a boundary.
5.3 Peter Hatzoglou to Ravi Bopara, SIX! That is a shot and a half from Ravi Bopara. That wasn't a bad delivery. On a good-length around off, Bopara makes some space and launches it into orbit. A free swing of the blade and it goes deep into the crowd, over the long-off fence.
5.2 Peter Hatzoglou to Mohammad Hafeez, Hafeez gets an inside edge off a flatter trajectory delivery around middle and leeg and takes a single.
5.1 Peter Hatzoglou to Mohammad Hafeez, FOUR! On a length around off and middle, Hafeez opens up the off side field and smashes this length delivery well over the extra cover fielder and it trickles away to the fence.
Hafeez is playing a sensible knock in the middle and he to stay till the end to steer his side to the finish line. It's not easy for the new batter to have a go at the bowlers straightaway, so the onus is on Hafeez to get the job done

4.6 Mujeeb Ur Rahman to Ravi Bopara, Bopara nudges away the length delivery just past the bowler, there was perhaps some interference from Hafeez and he decides against the single.
