That's it from us here. Thank you for joining us for the live coverage. This is Bidipto and his partner Chandra signing off.....
Tillakaratne Dilshan has been adjudged Player of the Match! Here is what he has to say.
Tillakaratne Dilshan: Extremely pleased with the effort today. We have picked up really well in the last two games and it's always good to keep the winning momentum going. It's hard for someone like me to field for 20 overs and come out to bat straightaway after that, but I got the job done well enough in the end and that's all that matters I guess.
Monty Panesar (Chandigarh Champs captain): I thought we bowled really well after the initial onslaught from Richard Levi. And Tillakaratne Dilshan did a tremendous all-rounder's job to hand us this victory. It was a top effort from all the players to come back in the contest and pull off this victory.
Dilhara Fernando (Nagpur Ninjas captain): I think we didn't score enough runs today. We fell around 30-40 run short. That cost us in the end. Hopefully, Harbhajan Singh comes back in and that helps it giving us out first win.
It is time for the post-match presentation!
CC won by 8 wickets CC - 163/2 (18.3 overs) Tilakaratne Dilshan - 86(46) | Gaurav Tomar - 50(42) Dilhara Fernando - 1/15 | Vinod Wilson - 1/21
A one-sided contest in the end as CC outclass NN by 8 wickets and seal the match comfortably. After being taken to the cleaners initially, CC bowlers showed great character to make amends to restrict NN to a total of 159.
With a target of 160, Bhanu Seth who is the leading run-scorer in the tournament got CC off to a steady start. However, he couldn't stay at the crease for long and succumbed after scoring a 20-ball 23. Playing in a must-win tie, NN looked to capitalize on the early breakthrough but Tilakratne Dilshan and Gaurav Tomar had other plans.
The duo never looked back as they both went on to register respective fifties and scripted a century stand for the second wicket to propel CC toward win.
For NN, Dilhara Fernando drew first blood and Vindo Wilson provided the only other scalp which came way late into the match after all the damage was done.
With the win, CC picked up their third victory in 4 games and maintained their apex spot in the points table while NN remained at the bottom after failing to pick up points so far in the tournament.
18.3 Parvinder Awana to Tillakaratne Dilshan, DILSHAN FINISHES IT OFF IN STYLE! Short over off-and-middle. Dilshan rocks backs and hooks it away over deep square-leg off the back foot from the middle of the bat for a six! Chandigarh Champs win by 8 wickets with 9 balls left.
18.2 Parvinder Awana to Robin Bist, good length ball around off. Tapped on the up to the backward point region for a quick yet risky single! Had there been a direct hit to the striker's end, Dilshan would be run out.
18.1 Parvinder Awana to Tillakaratne Dilshan, full around off. Driven off the front foot to cover. A slight misfield there hands Dilshan a single.
Parvinder Awana to bowl the penultimate over.
Vinod Wilson finally provides a break after a long wait but it looks a little too late now. The damage has already been done but good character shown by NN to keep fighting until the very end. CC need 4 more to win from 12 balls

17.3 Vinod Wilson to Gaurav Tomar, FOUR! Slightly short around off. Tomar cuts off the back foot but gets an outside edge just past the right of the keeper for a boundary down to third man! 50 up for Gaurav Tomar with that boundary!

17.1 Vinod Wilson to Tillakaratne Dilshan, good length ball outside off. This was slower and wider. Dilshan cut it down to deep backward point from the back foot and came back for a well-judged two!
Vinod Wilson to continue from the other end.
After Dilshan, Gaurav Tomar now inches closer to his fifty! NN can sense the match slipping away from their hands and with that their chances of qualification. CC need 11 more from 18 balls.
