Commentary

This has been Abhinav and myself (Rishab) and that is all we have from this game then. An exciting start to the day and do stay tuned as we have more ECS action coming your way!

Right then, what a game this has turned out to be for Cobra CC! Their bowlers were on an absolute roll as they ran through the Tigers batters, who could not even bat the complete overs. A brilliant effort from the bowling group as a unit to bundle the defending champions out for just 56 runs. All the bowlers were amongst wickets and this has been a collective performance alright.

Tigers lost early wickets in the powerplay and no batter could stay out there for long as they kept losing wickets all the way through. They could never get a partnership going and comeback into the contest at any point and fell apart miserably. They will be extremely disappointed with this batting effort and have some thinking to do going into the next game.

At the half-way point, it seemed as though the Cobra's might just have been short of a few runs but it proved to be way more than enough given the way their bowlers responded. A fine all-round performance from them with the bat, with the ball and in the field as well.

They will be confident as they two sides meet again shortly. The Cobras go in with momentum and will look to complete a double. Can the Tigers bounce back to settle scores this morning? They will be itching to comeback strong and get a win here!

Not too much time taken as Sanjay has wrapped this up for the Cobras here. Three wickets for him and this has been an incredible effort from their bowlers as they win by a massive margin of 70 runs. Well, this is a thumping win indeed and the defending champions have been blow away to say the least!
