Limassol Qalandars beat Napa Royal Kings by 3 runs!

The Napa Royal Kings felt that they were in with a chance until the latter half of this innings, and that is when the Limassol Qalandars choked them. They tried their best to come to terms with that but it was Jasdeep Singh who gave them hope by striking a few choice blows off the last over bowled by Ahmed Waleed.

However, it was not to be as Waleed managed to bowl two dot balls when four runs were needed off the last two. Jasdeep, it can be argued, should have gone for a single and rotated the strike instead of trying to hit every ball out of the park. So, despite him bringing them so close to winning the game, the Royal Kings miss out.

The Qalandars were not exactly brilliant in the field and were very lucky to hold on to win this game against the Royal Kings. They dropped a lot of catches, and it is their sheer good fortune that the batters of the Royal Kings did not capitalise on them and make them pay. This game will give the Qalandars a lot of confidence ahead of the reverse fixture to be played in a while.
