Greece 118/7 in 10 overs Amin Qasir 62(20) | Dawood Ahmadzai 3/16 Aslam Mohammad 20(8) | Noman Amjad 1/13
France have registered a thumping win by 71 runs here against Greece and they will march into the group finals. It was always going to be an uphill task for Greece chasing down 190 but they certainly gave it their best shot and were in the run chase for at least the first half.
Amin Qasir was brilliant at the top of the order and he took the attack to the opposition bowlers. He whacked it around in the powerplay and for a while made his side believe that the improbable could happen. He made an incredible 62 runs from just 20 balls. However, once he was gone, there wasn't enough resistance from the other batters. Skipper Aslam made 20 but the game had already slipped from their hands by that time.
France were a bit rusty to start things off but they came back well in the second half of the innings as they took wickets in heaps. Ahmadzai was the pick of the bowlers as he took three wickets in his spell. Amjad was really tidy as was Sher and the duo got a wicket apiece. Overall, this is a buoyant victory for the French side and they will be really proud of this effort.

Ahmadzai kept things tight in that over and it's only a formality now for France with a couple of overs left in the contest and Greece needing a whopping 83 runs that is mathematically improbable.
