Commentary

Well, chasing 99 wasn't going to be as easy as we did mention that this was still a pretty good score, given the fact that Rehberge also have a strong bowling line-up, and we have seen what they are capable of. Skittling the Lions out for a mere 46, as they got nowhere even close to the target in the end.

They were in early trouble as they lost quick wickets and were reduced to 17/4 inside the fourth over. Not a lot of teams can recover from such a horrendous start and so was the case here. It just kept getting worse and worse as they kept losing wickets all the way through, unable to put together any substantial partnership and it never really looked like they were in the chase at any point in the game.

Yousaf Khan being the pick of the bowlers with three wickets, while Mujadaddy and Farid Shah chipped in with a couple each. The Rehberge bowlers hardly let lose at any stage, giving nothing away making life miserable for the Lions batsmen out in the middle. Itwas a complete all-round effort with the ball that led them to a massive 52-run win eventually.

Not quite the way you want to lose a game, and the Lions batsman could have done better to stick around and pose a fight. What's done is done and they will have to figure out as to how they are going to pick themselves up from such a defeat. Not long before these two sides meet again and the Lions will look to redeem themselves. Can Rehberge continue to dominate and complete the double? Stay tuned to find out!

That is that then! Wrapped up as the Lions fail to even get past fifty runs, bundled out without posing any sort of a fight here and this has been a disappointing display of batting from them. Exactly an over and a half left as Rehberge clean the Lions up for just 46. Commanding 52-run triumph for them!
