Golden Star Bonn tried their best to chase these runs down, but could not quite do so in the end. They were almost there at one stage of the game, but the disciplined bowling of Dusseldorf Blackcaps, led by Puneet Kumar, Abdulmajeed Ahmadzai and Muhammad Raheel ensured that the former could not quite come to grips with the asking rate.

For large chunks of the game, Golden Star Bonn were behind the asking rate, and this hurt their chances tremendously. Dusseldorf Blackcaps were the deserving winners of this game, although they had to do so by the skin of their teeth at the very last moment.

The final over bowled by Jamshed Khan- who also starred for them with the bat in hand- was critical and the former delivered. He picked up two wickets in two deliveries and ensured that Dusseldorf Blackcaps were able to win this game and go through in the tournament!
