Gozo Zalmi made light work of the 68-run target and chased it down on the final delivery of the 5th over and won the match with 6 wickets in hand. Mehboob Ali and Ijaz Ahmed killed the game in the first two overs, collecting 48 and setting up the huge win.

It was sheer carnage on display in the first couple of overs as the duo smashed the Gozo CC bowlers to all corners of the park. They lost a few quick wickets but the opening stand had reduced the required rate so drastically, it didn't really matter for them.
