That's it then from this match, folks. Remember, these teams will now immediately go against each other in the reverse fixture in Sydney in three days' time, where we might see many more runs. For now, it's the pair of Rudransh and Pradeep signing off for Sportskeeda!
Nicola Carey is the Player of the Match! Here's what she has to say: Yes, I am. Only been one game but I've had few different roles in the years but nice to spend time and score for the team. (Batting at number 3) Actually presented to me, they asked me at the end of the season, we got a new batting coach as well, they put it to me, I was a bit surprised, I worked on it preseason, saw what it took. It was little bit ordinary, they bowled well with the conditions, with pace off, they made it quite difficult, it was tricky. We learnt from that and our bowlers nailed the plans. Not a set plan, we were struggling throughout those 10 overs, but after that we played nice cricket shots and it worked for us. Probably got carried away after the surge and lost my wicket. She was excellent, was entertaining and solid for us behind the stumps. It'll be good, we had a good look at each other, hopefully a good wicket in Sydney, plenty of runs as well.
A massive win and a massive two points for the Hurricanes at home. They just never left their foot off the gas. The target looked chaseable for their batting order but the Hurricanes got off to an unbelievable start by getting Athapaththu first ball and following up with the maiden for Strano.
Litchfield restored parity by hitting a few against Bryce but Smith struck twice more in the powerplay and Adams fell soon after in the seventh over. The match was suddenly on the shoulders of Litchfield and Anika Learoyd, who did give some home with a 52-run partnership.
Their best phase came just before the Surge in the 13th over where they smashed 13 runs together. But Litchfield got stumped on the first, wide ball and everything went awry from there. Graham picked up another wicket in the over, Learoyd mis-hit one trying to build momentum in the next and the remaining three fell in as many overs.

Ismail has been run-out for a Platinum Duck! A disaster to pile on the misery.
17.1 Chloe Tryon to Ella Briscoe, RUN-OUT! It's all falling apart quickly for the Thunder here, Ismail is well short and has to go. Short and wide, Briscoe cuts it straight to extra-cover and calls her partner for a quick single. Ismail was always struggling as the throw comes to the keeper, right on top of the stumps and Lee does the rest.
Shabnim Ismail run out (Saville/Lee) 0 (0b, 0x4, 0x6)

It was coming for a long, long time, wasn't it? Graham has been the player of this innings. Simply brilliant effort with the ball and ends her spell with the final blow.
